Wi - MAX Russia

In Ocober 2007 Moscow wireless communication developers "Komstar-OTC" and others are starting WiMAX internet broadband installations and planning to be accessible within Moscow territory by the end of the year. But the problem lies in shortage of WiMAX devices and users that could use this newly developed technology, and Moscow would imminently face it.

Since there are no major WiMax installations around the World it is yet unknown whether it is applicable to a comfort day-to-day use.

One would ask what does it have to do with you and me, well it depends whether are you risk taking investor or not: if WiMax makes it in Moscow it will make it everywhere else and companies that are holding WiMAX licenses all across the globe would make a fortune in stock market. There would be dime-a-dozen technology companies which would like to take a bite into the market surrounding WiMAX.
